Double Diamond Quarter Horses

Where foundation begins...

We would like to welcome you to Double Diamond Quarter Horses, were we raise cattle on a small scale and train horses. We are located in Southwest lower Michigan, just outside of the town of Dowagiac in the heart of farming country.

Our facility is on 60 acres of beautiful rolling hills and woods that we utilize for training and riding.

As well as the beautiful setting, we have a 60 x 120 indoor arena and a 90 x 130 outside open riding area along with a 75 x 80 fenced in pen.

We have been training for more than 20 years and have been fortunate to work with many great horsemen like Al Dunning, Chris Cox, Buck Brannaman and Joe Wolters. Through them and others like them, we have acquired the skills needed to help the horses succeed as a willing partner with the human.

Over the past few years we feel that our training program has evolved from starting colts and working with troubled horses to finishing and showing versatile ranch horses.

Whether it is, a ranch horse, trail, dressage or whatever disciplines, we feel a good foundation is where it all begins. Each horse is an individual and we hope to provide a training program that reflects this philosophy with each horse.

Please feel free to contact us to visit the facilities.
